Gyroscope announce new single- ‘Baby I’m Gettin’ Better’

The second single to be lifted from Gyroscope’s ARIA #3 album Cohesion is ‘Baby I’m Gettin’ Better.’

With a driving rhythm and ideally weighted pop-rock vocals, this tune’s humble beginnings as a laid-back country ditty is crafted into one of the most uplifting and energising moments of Cohesion.

“The early demos are a lot more country, with slide guitar and harmonica,” says lead guitarist Zoran Trivic. “This was one of the songs Gil (Norton, Producer) conducted during preproduction. And it came together in the studio in about 30 minutes.”

The accompanying video was filmed using a concept known as live stop motion and saw the Perth based band taking in Sydney sites including Newtown’s famous Gould’s Book Store, Carriage Works, the Watson’s Bay Lifehouse and St Vincent’s Hospital. We can confirm that no Gyro’s were harmed during the filming of the clip. Click on the image below to view the new video.

‘Baby, I’m Gettin’ Better’ will be granted it’s energetic live debut on Gyroscope’s now rapidly approaching ‘Cohesion Tour’. Throughout June, the band will be celebrating the release of Cohesion with fans by unleashing album tracks live for the very first time. This is one ticket that is truly beginning to hot up, and it’s not difficult to see why. Gyroscope will be hitting their stride supported by Melbourne stalwarts The Vasco Era & long time Sydney buddies After the Fall.

Don’t miss this opportunity to witness Gyroscope’s frequently lauded high-energy rock show in some of the most beautiful venues they have performed.
